What is CogitoLex?
A fast search app. Type a company name or a pincode and see the matching banks, categories, locations and states instantly. It also has bank policy details and a FOIR calculator.
Who can use it?
Only people whose email has been approved by the admin. You sign in with that Google account. If your email is not on the list, the app shows a message and no data is loaded.
How do I get access?
Ask the admin to add your Google email to the access list. Once added, open the app and sign in with the same account.
Does it work without internet?
Yes, after you have opened it online once on that device. The data is saved on your phone and searches run on the device. The first sign-in and data updates need internet.
How do I install it on Android?
Tap Download APK on the home page, open the file, and allow the install if your phone asks. Chrome may warn that the file could be harmful because it is not from the Play Store. Choose Download anyway.
How do I install it on iPhone?
Open the app address in Safari, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen. It then opens full screen like an app.
Can I use it on a computer?
Yes. Open the web app in Chrome or Edge and use the install icon in the address bar, or just keep it as a normal web page.
What information do you store about me?
Your name, mobile number and email, the type of device you use, when you joined, when you last opened the app and how many times. See the Privacy page for details.
How is the data kept up to date?
The admin updates the data and publishes a new version. The app checks for new data whenever you are online.
I cannot sign in. What should I do?
Make sure you use the exact Google account that was approved and open the app in Chrome or Safari, not inside WhatsApp or Instagram. If the message says your email is not on the list, contact the admin.
How do I sign out?
Open the Account tab in the app and tap Sign out. This also removes the saved data from that device.
